Did I put the story of my robbery on here?
I don't think so.
On May 11 I was robbed at gunpoint. I tried to play it off. It's messing with my head--a lot. I had to quit my job, and went for almost an entire month without working--fearing even leaving the apartment. I was deeply upset by the fact that someone (it turned out I knew him, even!) would dare to threaten my life. Life is sacred, and it scared me out of my mind to think I could've lost mine. My children, my husband...my life, it's too important. It's all too important.
Anyways, I have to go to court Friday and see this young man. His name is Mychael, and he's 17. His father is a police officer, and he was a good boy until he started hanging out with this group of gang bangers....anyways, he has now ruined his entire life. He's going to jail, he was caught less than a block away with the clothes, costumes, money and bank bag that I described to the police. There is no chance of worming his way out of it. It's really sad.
So, I guess I have a prayer request for anyone who's up for it. Please pray for Mychael, pray for his life that he can find the right path in life during his incarceration, work towards furthering his education while in prison, so that when he gets out he can be productive and happy instead of returning to the life of crime that has now ruined his young life.

I can do that. you are taking the high road by asking for prayers for this young man.
I have know victims that have not taken this road.

I would be glad to give prayers for him, and i too need to share a little something about whats going on with my 14yr old.
I have been fighting with him for about a year now. he chooses to steal do drugs and he always says he wants to kill himself.
I am in the process of putting him in a boarding school. I am trying to save his life. My fear is he will end up dead or like this young man you have ask us to pray for...

Hi Samantha, I came from Mike Golch's blog. I just want to tell you how blessed this young man is already. Not many victoms would request prayers for the person who violated them and their life. I just want you to know prayers are going for Mychael.
